The circulatory system or cardiovascular system supplies the body with oxygen, hormones, carbon dioxide, amino acids and electrolytes through a organ system that allows blood to transport nutrients by circulation. Blood cells are also transported with this system to help fight against disease, nourish, stabilize pH levels and body temperatures.
The cardiovascular system distributes blood. The lymphatic system takes much longer that the flow of blood, which provides red cells, white cells, plasma and platelets that the heart will circulate through the system of the vertebrate vascular, which is there to provide body tissue with nutrients and oxygen, at the same time this system will carry waste materials away from the tissue. In other words this in the filter system for the body. Waste collected will be returned to the heart to be passed through the lungs again. This will provide oxygen and return to repeat the process.
The heart, blood as well as blood vessels are essential components of the cardiovascular system. Once the blood has been receive the heart will then pump it to the lungs where fresh oxygen can be obtained. Once this has occurred the blood will be pumped to the left side where it will then be pumped into the body to provide organs, cells, vessels and the digestive system with with the oxygen and nutrient rich blood.
All of these systems are supplied by arteries that need to stay clear for the blood to reach all the required sections of your body. People who lead unhealthy lives, smoke, eat too much fatty foods or are who are over weight will experience problems with this as fat, cholesterol and many other substances are able to block these arteries and cause serious problems for the body. Heart attacks, heart failure and cardiac arrest are all things that become a much bigger reality when unhealthy diets are followed.
